Dharan- Leuti Road Tunnel lies in Province 1. This road tunnel will be part of the Koshi highway (309 km) which will be the shortest highway to connect India and China. The Feasibility study of the Dharan – Leuti Road Tunnel will be done between the Dharan and Leuti Khola. The length of the tunnel will be approximately 4.9 Km and this tunnel will shorten the length of the road between Dharan and Leuti significantly and reduce the traveling time and operating cost.
The objective of the proposed consulting services is to carry out the following:
1. Feasibility Study of the proposed Tunnel Road including technical, economic, and financial availability and,
2. Soil Investigation (2D Electrical Resistivity Survey) and detailed interpretation and Preliminary design of Tunnel Road.
