Scope of work of the project included:
- Collection of documents, information, data maps, aerial photo etc from the relevant offices;
- Desk study and identification of potential hydropower sites;
- Confirmation of sites from the DOED whether license have been issued already or not;
- Assessment of power potential and energy generation characteristics of the site;
- Conducting field verification and confirming head and design discharge at the site;
- Conducting geo-technical investigation of project sites;
- Hydrological study of river to get hydrological parameters;
Overall Services provided by the firm:
TMS provided consulting services to carry out the preliminary study to identify potential small and medium-scale feasible hydropower sites in Gandaki and Karnali river basins and obtain a survey license from the DOED for further detail studies to develop the project commercially
